Palliative care is for people living with a terminal illness like MND. Palliative care aims to help those with the illness and their families to achieve the best quality of life possible and offers a support system to the whole family. It can provide relief from pain and other symptoms. It can also help with any psychological, social or spirtitual needs. Palliative care can be provided in the earlier stages of illness and not just at end of life, as many people think.

The Scottish Parliament is consulting with charities about palliative care in Scotland and we would really like to hear directly from people affected by MND. If you would like to have input into MND Scotland's response, please answer the following questions by the end of Thursday 6th August.
