Family volunteering |
We are interested in exploring the relationship between family and volunteering - whether family dynamics shape volunteering and also how organisations engage with families as volunteers.
We have noticed the development of family volunteering schemes and opportunities which specifically target families. These have been common in the US and Canada for a while, but less so in the UK. Are things changing? Are we seeing an expansion of such schemes? Why? To what effect? We are interested in the whole area of families and volunteering, but for now we are keen to hear specifically about these types of opportunities.
